What do you think of when someone
tells you that they're an interior designer? Do you think of basic
decorating around the house? Well, that's what most people think
of...BUT interior design is NOT just decorating! Interior designers can
be anything they want to be in the world of design. They can use their
skills for anything from apartment and loft design to gaming design, art
therapy to city planning, and much more.
After
looking into all of these amazing options I narrowed down my list to 30
viable career options and then chose three options that I was most
interested in: apartment and loft design, commercial design, and museum
and gallery design. After deciding what I want to do, I chose two cities
that I think I could eventually live in: Chicago, IL and New York, NY.
Though these options might be far in the future, I think they are the
epitome of some of my dreams as a designer.
